1. Are your services covered by insurance companies.?
I am a Registered Psychologist and cover by Alberta Blue Cross. I am also covered by most insurance agencies. For further details, direct your inquires with your insurance provider. We are happy to discuss payment options and answer any of you r questions.

I accept e-transfers and all major credit cards upon completing each session.
3. Why are Fees billed in 50 min hour treatment/therapy sessions?
It is standard to have 50 minute sessions with 10 minutes of documentation time. Some processing sessions require 2- 50 minute sessions back to back.
4. Why do Formal Assessments take so long and maybe need longer than 3 hours?
An individual and family assessment involves collecting a tremendous amount of information. The complexity of mental health related to each client and family is unique. You should speak directly to your service provider to understand what is likely to be involved, including an estimate of time taken to conduct an assessment.
5. Do you talk to my doctor?
A report and progress gets communicated with your family physician, pediatrician or psychiatrist with your written permission. Consultation and collaboration with your health care providers is helpful with ensuring the efficacy of your treatment.
6. How much does a report cost for third party billing purposes?
Reports tend to take about 4 hours to complete on average. More complex cases may require longer. Report writing is charged $400 per 60 min hour. Phone consultations with other professionals , including third party payers are billed in 15 minute increments at a pro rated rate of $400 a 60 min hour.
7. How are people protected from COVID?
In responding to COVID 19 we are offering tele psychology by zoom. Home visits for assessment and treatment are subject to COVID screening, adequate PPE/ distancing and home safety interviews will be used upon request of clients. We are compliant with AHS and government regulations.
